Jesus Came to Save Sinners
(Matthew 1:21)
Christ's coming to die for our sins was no after thought. It had been well planned since even before the foundation of the world. The angel gave Joseph a special message concerning the birth of his son. He would be born to save sinners. Paul testified, "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst." (1 Timothy 1:15) This is the testimony of the Scriptures - Jesus came into this world to save sinners.
